Did you know you can pay your IRS and State of Maine taxes online? You can pay your balances due and your estimated tax payments using their Online Individual Payment Portals.
You’ll need to register on each site before you can make your first payment. The Federal EFTPS system will mail you a unique PIN which you will receive about a week after completing their online registration. Now you can schedule your automatic estimated tax payments throughout the year, saving you from trying to mail off your Estimated Payment Vouchers before the quarterly deadlines.
